Evacuation in Verazza

Due to the expected rainfalls this weekend, people are being evacuated in Vernazza, Cinque Terre according to Primocanale Television. Video showed people being evacuated by train this morning. The flooding of October 25th has left Vernazza devastated.

Severe weather warning across Liguria are forcing the closure of schools for today and tomorrow. The city of Genoa has issued an alert to ask people to stay indoors, to avoid the vicinity of rivers or underpasses, cellars or basements.
